Barrel agitator / Barrel mixer MBEP-5000

The heavy-duty version of our open-head drum mixer. Same top-clamp mount as the MBEO-500, but with a 1.1 kW (1.5 HP) motor that handles media up to 5,000 mPa*s. Customers buy this version for thicker solvent paints, polyester resins, PUR adhesives and bituminous compounds delivered in steel drums.

The drum mixer for open-head drums — the kind with a bolted lid you can take off completely. Top-clamp mount around the drum rim, full-size propeller drops straight into the open drum. Most of the MBEO-500 units we ship go to furniture coating shops and small paint manufacturers working with water-based paints, primers and light coatings in steel or fibre drums.

The pneumatic drum mixer for shops that do not want to run electricity into the mixing area. Same lid-mount platform as the MBEP series, but with an oil-free air motor running from a standard 6–7 bar shop air line. Customers tell us the deciding factor is usually one of two things: avoiding the cost of an electric install in the mixing zone, or working with solvents where a no-spark drive is the safer choice on principle.

Same lid-mount design as the MBEP-500, scaled up for thicker chemistry. The MBEP-5000 takes the same idea of integrating the mixer directly into the HDPE drum lid and pairs it with a 1.1 kW (1.5 HP) motor that handles media up to 5,000 mPa*s. This is the version chemistry plants buy when their drums hold something heavier than a typical water-based product.
