Stationary Mixers — Industrial IBC and Drum Mixing Stations
The Teknomatik stationary mixer range covers four industrial models built for fixed-station continuous duty. Production lines that mix the same recipe in the same workstation across two or three shifts choose stationary over mobile because the setup work — lifting a mixer onto every new IBC, clamping it down, plugging it in — disappears. The container rolls under the lift on a pallet, the head lowers into the tote or drum, the recipe runs from the operator panel.
The lift is electric on all four models. The propeller passes through the cap opening on top of the container. Because the mixer is a fixed floor station — not mounted on the IBC rim like the mobile IBC mixers on a transport bridge — the same unit accepts the full range of standard IBC totes: 600 L, 800 L and 1000 L.
The four models in the stationary range
MSU-1000 — universal with quick-change propellers (IBC + drums)
The MSU-1000 is the universal model and the only Teknomatik design with a quick-change propeller system. Two dedicated heads on the same drive — one for IBC totes (twin ∅140 mm 316Ti), one for drums (dedicated drum propeller). Industrial touchscreen with programmable sequences and a calendar. VFD from 40 to 100% of nominal as standard. Pick this model when your plant runs both IBC and drum formats and you want one floor station instead of two.
MSE-10000 — industrial standard with integrated VFD
The MSE-10000 is the industrial top model for IBC continuous duty. 1.5 kW electric drive, integrated VFD continuous from 100 to 300 rpm, operator panel with speed memory. Folding ∅350 mm 316Ti propeller through DN150 cap, fits 600 to 1000 L IBC totes. First MSE-10000 we shipped is at an automotive supplier in Lower Silesia, installed in 2017 — still in continuous duty. The typical buyer is a household-chemistry producer running three shifts. Pick this model when the recipe needs different speeds at different steps and you want the panel to keep them in memory.
MSE-10000 ECO — value-tier sibling with fixed speed
The MSE-10000 ECO uses the same 1.5 kW drive, same folding ∅350 mm 316Ti propeller and same electric lift as the industrial MSE-10000, but ships with a single fixed speed of 200 rpm — no VFD, no operator panel memory, basic terminal box. The cost cut pays for itself when the line runs the same recipe at the same rpm on every batch. Pick this model for repetitive high-volume batches where speed regulation does not earn its keep.
MSRP-5000 ECO Ex — pneumatic ATEX for Zone 1
The MSRP-5000 ECO Ex is our only pneumatic ATEX stationary mixer. Air motor at 6–7 bar, ATEX marking EX II 2GD h IIb T4 covering Zone 1 / 2 (gas) and Zone 21 / 22 (dust) under Directive 2014/34/EU. Intrinsically safe by virtue of the air-driven motor (no electric ignition source on the equipment). Built for solvent, varnish and ethanol-based chemistry production. St3 painted column with earthing strap connection for proper bonding inside the Ex zone.

How to choose between the four models
Two questions get you most of the way:
Question 1 — is the medium flammable enough to need ATEX? If yes, the MSRP-5000 ECO Ex is the only legal option in this category. If no, move to question 2.
Question 2 — do you alternate between IBC totes and drums on the same line? If yes, the MSU-1000 with its quick-change propeller system handles both formats from one floor station. If no — you run IBC only — choose between the MSE-10000 (VFD with speed memory, for recipes that change speed at different steps) and the MSE-10000 ECO (fixed 200 rpm, for high-volume repetitive duty where the VFD is not paying its way).
Where stationary mixers fit relative to mobile
Mobile IBC mixers sit on top of the tote and move from tote to tote. Mobile drum mixers sit on the drum lid or bridge. Stationary mixers stay on the floor and the container moves to the station. Pick stationary when one workstation handles many batches — the time saved on per-container setup adds up across shifts. Pick mobile when one tote stays in place for a long mixing job and the mixer needs to move between tote locations.
Industries we serve from this range
- Household and industrial chemistry — detergents, surfactants, cleaning agents, disinfectants (typical buyer: MSE-10000 in 3-shift production)
- Paint, varnish and coating production — solvent-based formulations (typical buyer: MSRP-5000 ECO Ex in Zone 1)
- Cosmetics and personal care — bulk shampoos, balms, creams, fragrance bases (MSU-1000 for mixed IBC + drum formats)
- Food and beverage — sauces, syrups, dilutions, food bases (MSE-10000 or MSU-1000, with 304 SS column on inquiry)
- Pharmaceuticals and intermediates — formulations with ethanol or solvent content (MSRP-5000 ECO Ex)
- Resins, adhesives and composites — epoxy, polyester, polyurethane batching (MSE-10000 for non-flammable, MSRP-5000 ECO Ex for styrene-vapour Zone 1)
Technical standards across all four models
- 316Ti propeller (food contact EC 1935/2004) on every model — acid-resistant stainless steel approved for food applications.
- St3 painted column standard — 304 stainless steel as paid option on inquiry (for hygienic and food/cosmetic/pharma applications).
- Electric lift on all four models — no manual crank.
- IBC 600 / 800 / 1000 L compatibility — the stationary frame does not depend on the IBC top rim, so all standard tote sizes fit.
- CE compliance — every unit ships with the EU Declaration of Conformity. ATEX models additionally with ATEX Declaration per Directive 2014/34/EU.
- Manufactured in Poland — design, machining and assembly at our plant in Jasienica.
