Barrel Mixer MBEP-500 — Electric Lid-Mount Drum Mixer for Plastic Drums 120-220 L

Application and model advantage

An electric lid-mount drum mixer designed specifically for plastic chemical drums in the 120–220 L range. The mixer attaches directly to the drum lid; a foldable ∅350 mm 316Ti propeller passes through the lid opening and unfolds inside the drum to deliver effective mixing action. For light chemistry up to 500 mPa*s: water-based paints, AdBlue, detergents, liquid concentrates, cosmetic bases.

The MBEP-500 lid-mount drum mixer handles all three duty modes — blending miscible liquids, re-suspension of settled solids and dissolution of powders — inside plastic chemical drums of 120, 150, 200 and 220 litres (HDPE / polyethylene / poly). The TEFC fan-cooled electric motor with IP55 ingress protection drives the folding (collapsible) propeller that opens inside the drum to deliver effective mixing action. The lid-mount installation keeps the drum stable on the floor or pallet during mixing — no overhead frame, no bridge, no clamp on the drum rim.

The MBEP-500 is the right choice for plants that handle their bulk chemicals in HDPE plastic drums with a removable lid — typical for paints, AdBlue/DEF, surfactants, detergents, cosmetic raw materials and many specialty chemicals delivered in 120–220 L plastic containers. The MBEP-500 is engineered for plastic chemical drums in the 120–220 L range. The mixer attaches directly to the drum lid; the foldable ∅350 mm 316Ti acid-resistant stainless steel propeller passes through the lid opening and unfolds inside the drum once deployed. The TEFC fan-cooled motor with IP55 ingress protection is built for continuous duty in production environments. The 316Ti propeller is approved for food contact under EC 1935/2004 and resistant to organic acids, salts and chlorides. Optional 1.4301 / 1.4404 stainless steel components for hygienic applications and chemical-aggressive duty.
